Upgrade of "E" Bldg BMS and Data Centre Cooling Units Upgrade
£1 million
IBM & Johnsons
Syscom were tasked with replacing the old Robertshaw system with a Johnsons system. Upgrading the Johnsons BMS head end software and head end graphics. Installing a new hard-wired alarm system. This was achieved whilst maintaining conditions in a high security, fully operational, 24/7 critical environment.
Continued contact with customers and support ensures Syscom receive repeat business. Which was the case at IBM North Harbour where Syscom were involved in a second project for Johnson Controls involving total refurbishment of the data centre sensible cooling units within 3 zones. The work completed in two phases the first involving 27 units and the second 60 units. The new BMS controls were installed with hard wired interface and MODbus high level integration. Additional hard wired was wiring to remote alarm panels external to the data centre areas. The head end graphic also needed upgrading.
